- Account identifiers from authentication providers (e.g., Apple or Google sign-in).
- Your selected news source preferences.
- Device notification token used for push notification delivery.
- App usage and basic diagnostic metadata needed for service reliability.
2. How We Use Information
- To personalize your feed based on selected sources.
- To send push notifications for new matching articles.
- To operate, maintain, and improve app reliability and performance.
3. Data Storage
- User preferences are stored in Firebase/Firestore and associated with your user ID.
- Articles and summaries are stored in PostgreSQL.
- Push tokens are stored in backend tables for notification delivery.
4. Third-Party Services
- Firebase Authentication and Firestore
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (APNs)
- OpenAI (for article summarization/classification)
- Railway (backend and database hosting)
5. Your Choices
- You can update source preferences in the app.
- You can disable push notifications in iOS Settings.
- You can request account deletion from within the app.
